Reflective (Metallized) Films

In simplest terms, metallizing (vacuum coating) is a process whereby a metal (almost exclusively aluminum) is applied as a layer (coating) onto a clear polyester film, to which another layer of polyester film is laminated. The results are solar control films that have varying levels of visible light transmission (VLT). The lower the VLT, the higher the solar heat reduction.
