One lot of 64 glossy copy print photographs made some time
between 1930 and 1960 all of World War I planes. The sizes range from 4 ½" x 3 ¾" to 8 ½" x 6", all mounted on a flexible board 10" x 8". Many are identified on the mounting, some in the photograph. Very nice, sharp images. (17640) $650.00

CLARK, General Mark W. Typed Letter, signed, with signed photograph and a 15th Army Group insignia. The T.L.s. is on Headquarters of the United States Forces in Austria, Office of the Commanding General and is dated 6 September 1945. In the letter he explains the symbolism of the white shield and blue waves on the insignia. The photograph is 3 1/2" x 5" and is signed and dated. The letter has three small shadows from the double-stick tape used on the back. (16245) $850.00

BRADLEY, General Omar. Typed Letter, signed, with inscribed and signed photograph. The T.L.s. is on Headquarters Twelfth Army Group, United States Army, Office of the Commanding General stationery and dated 12 February 1945. Bradley has signed the letter as Lieutenant General as he has the photograph. The photograph is 8" x 9 3/4" and is presented to the recipient of the letter. There is a small piece of tape at the lower right margin going into the photograph by about 1/4". Bradley has also enclosed a paper facsimile of the Twelfth Army Group patch, which is also signed.
